The Texas Elks Lodge Crawl is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to visit four Texas Elks Lodges and the famous Texas country music landmark Luckenbach.
The bus will leave from the Austin Convention Center at 9:00 am. The day will begin with a scenic drive from Austin to Luckenbach, where Texans have been making music and memories since 1849. Take a walk under the 500 year old oak trees, sit back, relax and enjoy some live country music. The second stop will be San Antonio Elks Lodge #216, where lunch will be served, along with some quality entertainment and fellowship with fellow Elks. The third stop will be the New Braunfels Elks Lodge #2279. New Braunfels is rich in German history, and the elks lodge is no exception, with its own fascinating stories. The fourth stop will the Seguin Elks Lodge #1229, for some libations and afternoon fellowship. The fifth and final stop will be to visit Gonzales Elks Lodge #2413, located in historic Gonzales, Texas, home of the Come and Take It Battle, the first battle in the Texas Revolution. Dinner will be served, along with drink specials and great hospitality. The tour bus will return to Austin by 9:00 pm. |
